GREENSBORO COLLEGE ENDS SU MEN'S SOCCER SEASON
Fourth-seeded Greensboro College ended Shenandoah University’s men’s soccer season with a 3-0 victory Tuesday afternoon in the USA South Conference Tournament quarterfinals.
Greensboro (11-4-3) led 1-0 at the break before scoring a pair of second-half goals over the Hornets (6-15).
CNU SENDS WOMEN'S TEAM PACKING
Homestanding and second-seeded Christopher Newport University ousted Shenandoah University from the USA South Conference Women’s Soccer Tournament Tuesday night with an 8-1 quarterfinal round victory.
CNU (13-6) opened the scoring with a Brittany Revels goal at 12:45 and never looked back against the Hornets (5-13). Christopher Newport advances on to the tournament semi-finals, where they meet No. 3 Greensboro in the semi-finals at Methodist University on Friday.

WOMEN'S TEAM EDGED BY FERRUM
The Shenandoah University women's soccer team gave it everything they had, but came up just short in a 1-0 USA South Conference loss to Ferrum College Saturday afternoon.
Ferrum (6-9-2, 5-4 USA South) got a Jessica Lively goal in the 76th minute to down the Hornets (5-12, 3-6) and clinch the No. 5 seed at next week's USA South Conference Tournament in the process.

MEN'S TEAM FINISHES 5th IN CONFERENCE
The Shenandoah University men's soccer team clinched the No. 5 seed at next week's USA South Conference Tournament with a 2-0 victory over Averett University.
Shenandoah (6-14, 2-4 USA South) wins for the third straight time with the victory over AU (4-10, 0-6). The Hornets will travel to the No. 4 seed, most likely Methodist, for the quarterfinal round.

MEN'S TEAM KEEPS BISONS WINLESS
The Shenandoah University men's soccer team recorded its second straight victory Thursday afternoon with a 7-0 shutout at Gallaudet.
Shenandoah (5-14) scored all seven of its goals in the first half over the Bison (0-17).
Sophomore Adam Aldinger had three of the Hornets goals with Chris Wondree, Mohamed Toure and Jerad Shaffer adding one each. GU provided the final tally on an own goal.

2nd STRAIGHT VICTORY
Shenandoah University earned its second straight women's soccer victory Wednesday afternoon with a 6-1 USA South Conference win at Mary Baldwin.
Shenandoah (5-11, 3-5 USA South) surpasses last season's win total with the win over the Fighting Squirrels (2-12-1, 1-6-1).
SU also knows it will now be at least the No. 7 seed at next week's USA South Conference Tournament - the Hornets could rise to No. 5 with a win over Ferrum on Saturday in the regular season finale.
